I dragged David away from his conference for the afternoon, and we took a long walk up to the Parc du Chateau, site of ancient ruins on a hilltop overlooking Nice and the Baie des Anges (Bay of Angels). On one side ot the hill is an old church with a Jewish and Christian Cemetary. The Jewish side was closed for passover, so we just peeked in through the gates. On the way down towards Vieux Nice, we found some FERNS growing on a wall. Finally, we walked along the Quai des Etats-Unis around the hill to the Nice Harbor and then back to the center of Nice through the antique area.
